If you are thorough with the important part of the syllabus having high weight age, the concepts, all the basics and the question practice from NCERT and exemplar then you can definitely score maximum. Scoring high doesn't means that you refer books but it mainly depends on how much clear you are with the concepts + basics. You should know the applications of the formulae- the logic where and when to be applied and that's all will help you in cracking questions easily. Hope you're getting my point.! 

So do revise the concepts, make formulae chart for easy and quick revision and practice maximum questions possible. Refer previous years question papers to get the question-paper-level-pattern idea.
