Self-attestation must be done on the photocopy of the original document to upload in DU UG Application form. So you have to get the photocopies of the requisite documents, sign on it and scan the documents to upload. As you are signing on the photocopies of the documents it will not be a problem if you sign it with blue or blank ink pen.
