you can go for as two or more states counselling at the same time. There are many states which are open states i.e. which allows other state candidates to take admissions into their private colleges. You can apply for state counselling only for that state in which you have lived for last 10 years . Actually that means you can apply in your state only. You won't be able to take part in other state's government college counselling.you are eligible to apply for both, all India quota as well as state quota. As per NTA guidelines, you can apply for both  The states such as Karnataka, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana etc.
