Not fully sure, but according to the University Grants Commission policies, you are eligible for taking UGC NET examination. This is because of the following reasons:

• You must have completed your masters in social science computer science or applications electronic science etc from a recognised University.
• You must have scored at least 55% marks in the aggregate for being eligible for University Grants Commission National eligibility test.
• If your result is still awaited of master's degree, even then you can give University Grants Commission National eligibility test.

However there are no details mentioned that masters in hotel management students can appear or not for UGC NET examination. However you can contact the the University Grants Commission for asking the same information.

UGC NET is a national level exam to determine  the eligibility of the post of assistant professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship award in Indian universities and colleges.candidates can take admission after completing master in particular subject.
