There are different exams held at different level to get  admission in NIT Trichy. First you need to choose the course that you want to pursue, and then you need to do extremely well to get into this college.

• For B.Tech, you need to give JEE MAINS,
• For M.Tech you need to give GATE,
• For MBA you need to give CAT,
• For M.Sc you need to give JAM,

1 candidates seeking admission to BTech and B.Arch courses have to qualify in JEE MAIN followed by counseling conducted by JOSSA.

2 MTech and MS by research admission are based on the score in GATE followed by vounselling (CCMT)

3 CAT qualified candidates are eligible to secure admission in MBA , final admission is based on GD and interview round .
