Many universities have the same syllabus as class 12 and JEE - Main and Advanced so you can actually study for both JEE and your college simultaneously and can change your college after one year if you get a better college with your new JEE rank. It is advised that you check the syllabus of your college before this plan because most colleges have a bit advanced syllabus of Mathematics and physics as compared to the JEE syllabus.
