You need not to worry. You'll get the chance of refilling the jee advanced form in which you'll have to upload a scanned copy of you respective category certificate.

So you can fill your catagory as OBC-NCL at that time. But i will recommend you to send a email to jee main authority regarding thus to allow you to change your category but you need not worry about jee advanced.

I don't know which examination you are talking about but in general, if you choose the category of reservation for any entrance, then you need to upload the document in the counselling process and if its a direct admission then you need to provide the documents (if required with the application form) either through online portal or during the verification.

I would recommend you to read the Admission brochure manual and there you will get all the information required to be submitted during the application form.
