According to the Indian government's Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, RBAs are people who live in underprivileged areas of society and are classified as OBCs. However, some universities and entrance exams do not recognise RBAs as OBCs; for confirmation, please refer to the official exam notification. OBCs, or other backward classes, have a 27% reservation in government jobs. Depending on the organisation or institution you choose, you may be able to take advantage of these perks.
