Yes, you can do MBA after you have completed B.Com. Also the course of MBA is related much with the commerce backgorund, it is easy for Commerce students to grasp subjects like Accounts, Economics, Law. To start with MBA, you need to clear any of the entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, ATMA, state level CETs. For few of the private colleges, they conduct their own entrance tests. After the tests, you will have to prepare for the Group discusion and Personal or panel Interviews to get short listed in good B-Schools. The minimum eligibility criteria to be selected is 50 percent in 10th std, 12th std and graduation along with your GD/PI performance. For doing MBA, it is not needed that a person must be from certain background. If your goals are clear about MBA, then go for it. It gives a broader view on the interaction of various factors in the industry and welcomes you into the corporate world. Being from a commerce background, you are more likely to select the specialisation that suites your academic background.
