Can one give just four subjs for improvement exam of class 12 to be eligible for jee mains 2019?

Yes, you can give improvemen exams for any number of subjects.

Minimum requirement for JEE Main is 75% marks in order to be eligible.

What about admission  into NITs?

For NITs: Candidates are required to score a minimum of 75% in their class 12th or be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12th exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ST students, the minimum of 65% is required to be eligible.
