See, it depends whether the institute is providing you the apron or white coat or not. If the authorities are providing, then it's ok. No need to buy. But if they are not providing, then you've to buy of your own. But it is suggested for you to have an apron of your own. You can use it if they're not providing or else keep it as a spare. But whenever you attend practical, make sure you always have the record as well as the apron else the faculties wont let you enter.
