NO. You cannot change your stream or campus in VIT, once you have already taken admission in a particular campus with a specific stream.

It is strictly against the terms and conditions of Vellore Institute of Technology for any student to ask for campus or stream change once a specific stream and campus is already allotted.

However, if you are concerned about placements, VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore placements are done together in VIT Vellore campus only.

Thus, you should be clear about your stream and campus from the very beginning only.
