Hello Aspirant!

You will have to sit for the entrance test in order to pursue your PG from JIPMER. Doing MBBS from JIPMER does not make you eligible for pursuing PG from there, without giving the test.

You have to sit for the entrance test, qualify it, apply for counselling and then you can take admission if selected.

JIPMER conducts it's separate PG exam through which it fulfills the 120 seats in MD/MS degree, out of which about 100 seats belong to the Indian candidates and the rest for foreign ones.

Apart from this, 20% of all PG seats in JIPMER are reserved for those candidates who have completed their MBBS from JIPMER itself, that being an additional benefit for the JIPMER candidates.
