Dear aspirant,

Yes, you can crack JEE Mains without coaching.

The importance of a coaching center is that they'll help you stay accountable, organized and there'll be mentors to help you throughout the journey.

First of all, ensure that you have enough support from family, friends and teachers to motivate you and help you when you are down as JEE preparation is physically and mentally demanding.

Make sure that you have teachers whom you can reach out to ask doubts and get your concepts cleared.

It requires a lot of hard work, discipline, consistency from your side.

1. Get standard reference books -

First, finish NCERT problems and concepts before moving on to the reference books. Stick to one to one reference book and finish it thoroughly.

Refer to NCERT for inorganic chemistry refer only NCERT, memorize every single line from it

Organic chemistry - OP Tandon

Physical Chemistry - P Bahadur

Physics - H C Verma

Mathematics - Arihant series if you don't understand certain concepts refer to Cengage series.

These textbooks are gold standard for preparation. Follow these and learn concepts from NCERT/ Youtube videos (only if you have doubts)

Make summary notes with important formulae and key concepts as soon as you finish a chapter. This summary notes should not be more than a page .

2. Make a schedule for yourself and stick to it

3. After completion of every chapter, solve the previous year questions from that chapter.

4. Subscribe to a good mock test series and write mock tests regularly ( ideally twice every month). This will help you get a feel for the exam and get you to finish the exam on time.

5. Finish the syllabus a month before the exam and spend the month befor exam on revising and writing mock tests once every two days .

6. After every mock test, review yourself thoroughly, see where you're making mistakes and correct the accordingly.

If you follow all these steps, you'll be able to crack the exam without coaching.

All The Best!
