Writing the VITEE exam is compulsory. Its contemporary to the JEE Mains or Advance. The only difference being the former is only for addmission in VITEE while the later for other engineering colleges.

Hello, you can get a seat in VIT without appearing for the exam but you will have to pay a extraordinarily high fees. Moreover you want CSE which will attract higher fees as its in demand.Good luck!!

Hello dear student,

If you want to take admission in VIT that is Vellore Institute of technology so be it any course undergraduation and for post graduation the exam that is conducted is VITMEE so you have to appear in VITEEE to get admission in Vellore Institute of technology for undergraduate courses. There is no other way to get admission in this college. I hope this was helpful.
