In order to take admission in IITs you need to appear JEE Advance Entrance Exam after qualifying JEE Main Entrance Exam.
You can apply in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs on the basis of JEE Main Score. As per the eligibility to apply for IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs you should have minimum 75% in your class 12th as a General category & 65% as a reserved category or you should be in top 20 percentile in your 12th exam from the respective board.
