Yes you can leave the seat every  year students leave there seats after getting admission into it as they had also appeared for army camp and got selected to pursue it then at the middle of the year they vacant the seat . And to do this you wont have to give any proper notification to the admin block you will itself gets terminated if you dont give the exams of the semester.
