Can you please brief me about school of open learning Delhi University? The admission procedure and academic and college life

School of Open Learning (SOL) formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Counting Education and affiliated to University of Delhi was established in 1962.It is a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India. The School offers UG and PG Courses in the field of Arts and Commerce. The School offers learning through distance education mode which is a viable alternative for students who need a flexible medium of instruction to attain higher education and vocational skills.

UG  COURSES :-

1.BACHELOR OF ARTS [BA] :-

FEES :- rs 3430/-  for the first year

2.BACHELOR OF ARTS [BA] (Hons):-

subjects :- POLITICAL SCIENCE /ENGLISH

FEES:- rs3630/- for the first year

3.B.COM

fees :- rs3530/- for the first year

4.B.COM [HONS]-

fees :-rs3830/-

ADMISSION :-

Admissions starts on 1st June 2019 and ends on 31st July 2019.

College life :- The campus crowd is high. You can enjoy the fest of any college under Delhi University as you get an identity card from the university.

Placements : It's not a regular college, so it doesn't provide any placements. It only provides education, and after 3 years, the students will just get a degree from the college but not placements.

Infrastructure : It's not a regular college, so it does not have its building. A student of School of Open Learning has to attend the classes in regular colleges only on Saturday and Sunday. They don't provide facilities like sports, games, medical facility, Wi-Fi facility, etc.

Hello Misha,
The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in the subjects of Arts/Humanities and Commerce.

The school also has a South Study Centre at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi.
