Hello there,
Both civil engineering and electrical engineering are core branches.
And both have good future options.
When comparing electrical engineer versus civil engineer in job prospects, electrical engineers enjoy a slightly higher wages, but civil engineers have more opportunities.
But, electrical engineering is a evergreen branch and is more diversified branch then civil engineering.
After doing civil engineering one can get jobs mainly in infrastructure companies.
But after doing electrical engineering you can work in every sector as in every sector there is a requirement of Electrical engineers.
So according to me you should go for electrical engineering. Moreover I'm also a student of electrical engineering, so I would like to suggest you to go for electrical engineering.
If your concepts are clear and you have deep knowledge then both the branches are well.
Now choice is totally upto you.
Hope this answer helps!
Good luck!!
Thank you.
