On the basis of your rank and category I think you can get lower branches in low Nit's and also if you wait till last counselling you may get lower branches is old nit's . But core branches is not possible . But on the basis of your rank , category and home state you can easily get one of the core branches easily due to 85% home state Quota in a state .
