Hello Satyam,

If you want to qualify JEE Main then you have to get 75% aggregate in 12th boards. There are many colleges which take admission on JEE Mains rank and require only 60% or 50% 12th boards aggregate but if you want to get admission in top colleges like NIT, IIT, BITS etc. then you have to manage 75% in 12th boards.

No good engineering institutes viz IIT, NIT, IIIT , DTU , NSIT , BITS , Manipal consider 12th board marks while considering admission which solely depends on the performance in the entrance exams conducted by the respective institutes/
board . One should however maintain a minimum marks criteria besides qualifying the entrance exams .
