Hello Yamini!

There has been a lot of ruckus going around on the internet regarding NEET 2019 be it cut-offs, difficulty level of question paper, answer keys and what not! Do not fall prey to any such claims at least before the counselling procedure is over. You do not have to worry or stay apprehended for the outcome.

Now, as a person who appeared for NEET 2019, I can tell you that the exam was easy. The exam was so easy that the people who scored low was because of the very fact that the test turned out to be easy. You see, when you have a test like that, the person tends to get either too casual or too suspicious and might mark the wrong answer. That was the major difference between the two. NEET 2017 was not that easy that you wouldn't fight till the very end.

Physics was easy both the years (And I am saying that as a person who was weak in physics). But you do need to have basic grasp as rather different type of questions were asked this year. Single word questions were also asked which were quite rare in NEET 2017. Chemistry was absolutely and singularly NCERT based for this year. You had to read in between the lines of NCERT if you wanted a good score in chemistry. Same was the case with NEET 2017, however a few questions were calculative and you have to pay attention if you wanted to avoid silly mistakes. Biology was easier in NEET 2017 and I say this as a student, because in NEET 2017 you could have easily came up with a single answer out of the given 4 options. But this year, utterly close and confusing options were given, which have created a lot of ambiguity and created challenges against the answer key provided by NTA.

However, none of the questions were directly repeated in 2019 from 2017. Also, even if you do compare between the two papers, the cut-offs and ranks are ever changing in a platform like NEET with no two year trends completely overlapping. Even if the given two are comparable, do not fall prey to people out of the related field.
