Dear Aspirant

If by state medical college, you are referring to government medical colleges in states, then you might be able to get admission on MBBS seat through State Quota, depending upon your domicile and other eligibility requirements, since under state quota, candidates can apply for admission only in selected state based on varied criteria like domicile, etc.

Coming to whether or not you will be able to secure an admission with a low score in a government medical college, a large part of it will depend upon which state you are eligible to get admission in (under state quota), the number of colleges and seats therein, and performance of your peers, etc.

You may calculate your rank throughRank Predictor tool of NEET 2018 which can help you predict your NEET 2018 rank based on your scores in NEET 2018.

Hope it helps!

All the best!
