Role of a critical care technology is highly required in hospitals and ICUs. It is a medical course in which you will learn about setting up medical equipment and connecting them to patients. You learn monitoring the equipment, recording the data and providing these data to the physicians. You will be also learning providing first-aid to patients in the absence of suitable medical aid. You are also taught the principle of operation and working of these medical devices. Critical care also is called intensive care. Critical care treatment takes place in an intensive care unit (ICU) in a hospital.
