Hello,

To eligible to apply for NIMCET a candidate must have passed three year B.Sc/ B SC Hons/ BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects or four year B.E/B Tech from a recognised board or university. Candidates who are in thr final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided they must pass in the qualifying examination before the cut off date. Candidates belonging to  General and OBC must score minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD must score minimum 55% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

As you are still in the first year of the qualifying examination. You can apply for NIMCET when you are in final year of your Bachelors Degree. If you clear the ATKT and score the requisite marks in the Bachelor's Degree as mentioned above you will be eligible to apply when you are in final year of the qualifying degree.
