In my opinion you should for MBA in operations because in this course more opportunities are given to engineering students since your graduation is related to this course, You can opt for doing MBA in business analytics which is course is also related to mechanical engineering. Other than this you can also opt for MBA in marketing which has seen a lot of engineers in recent time. I don't recommend you finance and HR since I don't consider these branches a good option for engineers and engineers also don't opt these MBA branches.

Since you are working at a power plant, i can assume you are mechanical engineering.
You are already working at a managerial lost and doing MBA will give you a hike in package for sure either you stay with the same company or if you make a switch.The preferred branches for MBA for you are
Industrial Management.
HR
International Business Relations.
Finance
Marketing
