They set a marks 50% or 60% depending upon the subject . U need to score above that , then your name will come in the merit list . Then they will select from the 1st rank in the merit list upto the rank which makes their seats filled up . Usually for BSC there are 36 seats . But many students leave this college when they get chance in presidency or Jadavpur …so chances are there for an average scorer i.e 83% to get admitted into this clg.
