Jee is an exam conducted by NTA. There are two phase of jee. first is jee main and second is jee advance which you can appear only if you qualify for jee main. You will get college according to your performance in jee main and jee advance if you get good rank in jee advance then you will able to get admission in IITs but you fails to perform in advance but have a good performance in jee main then you will get NITs and IIITs and other institutes. So jee is an exam who help you to take admission in IITs. Hope I have cleared your doubt.

Hello student Jee has two levels once is Jee main and second is Jee advance.
Admission in IIT is through Jee advance you need to clear the Jee main cut off and appear and qualify Jee advance to get admission in IIT's.
Admission in NIT's IIIT's CFTI's are on the basis of marks/rank obtained in Jee main entrance examination.
Eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 in Physics chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 75 percent marks aggregate from a recognized board. (this year Candidates need to obtain only passing certificate)
