Both the stream have their own specialty and most importantly one should choose that particular stream in which they have the more interest. In the matter of scope CS Engineering  have more demand and scope as compare to Civil Engineering. The placement package of CSE is higher.

Yes, Computer Science Engineering definitely has great scope in private as well as public sector. Although the competition in the field of CSE has increased over the years it does not take away from the fact that the number of CSE jobs available are more than the number of Civil Engineering jobs as of now.

With a CSE degree a scope for further studies and research also opens up which is pretty limited in Civil Engineering.

Pros of CSE:

- Trendy field

- chances of Higher studies and research

- Salaries in private sector can go really high

Pros of Civil Engineering:
