Dear Priyal, there are approximately 1750 MBBS seats for grabs in State Counselling. In 2018 under State Quota 482 marks secured a seat in GMC Khandwa under OBC Category. That has been the cut off. This year it is speculated that the cut offs in overnment Medical Colleges will increase by 25 marks. In such cases, 501 marks cannot get you a seat. Even with a Category rank of 1610, it is difficult for a seat because OBC has 27% reservation which means out of 1750, only 472 seats are allotted to OBC. You might get a seat in BDS but unfortunately not in MBBS

Well according to last year's cutoff you need to score a minimum of 490 marks but the rank at which that score was achieved was about 27,000.

And the competition this year is quite stiff.

You have mentioned that you have a rank at about 48,000. According to that you may face difficulties getting admission in a government medical college in madhya pradesh.
