Mathematics is important for learning Computer science. Now you did not tell which board you studied your 12th in. But topics like Set theory, logic notation, graph theory, algebra, combinations, probability that you learn in 12th mathematics form the basic of computer science. Again Algorithms that you learn in 12th mathematics is also there in CSE. Because this is used in advanced form in B.Tech. Linear Algebra, Theory of probability, multivariable calculus concepts are important to learn AI. AI is artifical intelligence and is taught in CSE.
