Dear student,

For jee advanced 2020, the jee advanced board asked and made it mandatory that all category certificate should be issued on or after 1st april 2020. Then only for jee advanced 2020, the certificate of category will be termed valid.

Now, a category certificate has a lifespan or validity of 1 year. So, I would advise that for jee advanced 2021, you must issue new one or make a new certificate.
Because the category certificate of 2020 or older shall not be valid in jee advanced 2021.
So, better make a new one or renew it if you have your old category certificate.
