Hello muskan,

Yes, DU conduct entrance exam for MA in economics. The admission is based on two ways i.e, merit based and entrance exam based.

The eligibility Criteria For DU MA (Economics) Admission 2020

Direct/Merit Mode– A candidate must have secured at least 60% aggregate in B.A. Economics (Hons)

Entrance Test Mode– A candidate must have secured at least 60% in entrance exam or 1st division or equivalent CGPA in any UnderGraduate/Postgraduate degree in any subject.

The minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Test as per last year was -

40% - General category

36% - OBC category

20% - SC/ST category
