Delhi University (DU) does not specifically feature a Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) in Drama program it enables drama and theatre study through alternative degree choices. Students can study drama at DU through the BA (Programme) – Drama & Theatre Studies at Hansraj College along with their other academic subjects. The BFA program at the College of Art (DU) delivers visual art training through Applied Art, Visual Communication, Painting and Printmaking disciplines while omitting explicit drama instruction. The educational program at DU colleges includes acting and theatre certificate courses with Hansraj College offering an Acting & TV Presentation course. The performing arts degree focused on drama is not available at DU but students can pursue this specialization through IGNOU and the National School of Drama (NSD) and Ambedkar University Delhi.
