As medical education is going to be expensive these days. Most of medical colleges in Karnataka ask for bank guarantee from the students whether they will be able to pay fees for future years . This is practised not only for NRI and management quota but also for private colleges also. After paying annual fees the colleges ask for guarantee of 3.5 years . The medical courses are mostly of 5.5 years.
