Hope you are doing great there . I regret to say this but your question is a not that clear . I mean you have not mentioned about which particular exam or about which particular domain you are talking . But if I answer this question on a general ground then definitely there is difference but most of the times the gap is not that much high . So you can get an estimate from the previous year cut offs.
