Your graduation marks really matters for taking admission in any college.many colleges eligibility criteria requires more than 55 percent marks in graduation.for competitive exam some insurance companies requires minimum 60 percent marks.

first year marks does not matter alot but what matter is your overall performance in graduation or total aggregate marks obtained in all the three years.

you should maintain your marks from your first year to complete your graduation with good percentage.if you dont score good in first year dont worry make it up in your second and third year.
