For admission in courses under faculties of Sciences and Applied Sciences, aggregate marks of best three subjects is considered. For example, for admission to B.Sc Chemistry (Hons), merit will be calculated based on aggregate percentage in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The Merit Marks are calculated by taking English marks plus Marks in Top 3 subjects divided by 4. It does not matter the 3 subjects include physical Education or any.
