Apart from accepting CAT scores, Pondicherry University also conducts an All-India level entrance examination for admissions to its MBA programme. The format is more or less similar to that of CAT or MAT with questions being asked from General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Business and General Awareness.

You can register yourself for this exam on the official website. It will be starting in the month of April 2018 for this session and exam will be conducted in May 2018. It's necessary for students to give this exam because based on the marks obtained a merit list will be prepared and the students clearing the cut off in the merit list will be shortlisted and called for the counselling session.

The exam conducted by pondicherry university is also quite similar to CAT exam with 5 sections of equal marks which consists of quantitative aptitude, English comprehension, Test Reasoning, Data interpretation, General awareness.
