Taking a drop is itself a tough decision,but still nothing should seem unachievable.Often it's seen with people that they loose all hopes during their drop year and undergo a phase of depression,but always remember why you decided to take a drop,alwa al remember the passion for your dream profession and stay motivated.

Next is a proper strategy which needs to be followed during this entire period of drop year.According to me,I suggest you to join some reputated coaching for your preparation but never take the risk of studying on your own at home as this period of drop year and study would not go hand in hand as during drop year we need guidelines of a mentor to get through the exam and study fully to achieve all.
