Hello Dear aspirant

During self attestation of documents,  you should sign them as well as write self attested on them. These two together confirms that the documents have been self attested by the signed person. Though,  if you haven't written self attested on the documents,  that itself isn't a big problem. Signing the documents would do the work for you.
