You haven't mentioned whether you have appeared for your 1st year examinations or not. Nevertheless, first year is a Break year which means you need to clear all the subjects of the 1st year to move on to the 2nd year. If you fail to do so, you will have to take a gap of 6 months and clear the subjects to move to the next year. If you haven't attended the classes, you would not be having the required attendance and you might have not been allowed to take the exams. In such circumstances, you will remain in 1st year. You need to talk to your administration about your next course of action.
