During the 2019 NEET MDS counselling for UP state, we were made to sign an affidavit stating if we leave the course at any point of time, we will have to pay the full 3 years academic fees. Is this practice legal??

Dear Sanchit, this is admissable and a legal practise. You havent mentioned the name of the Cokkege but every Medical College is affliated to the Primary Medical University of that State and it  declares its set of rules and regulations to the affliated University and MCI when it seeks the proposal of a Medical College. And by signing this affidavit, you are bound by law to abide by the same.
