I am providing the facts about both the college and course that you have mentioned.

IITM

Around 65-70% placement.
No of companies visited - 246 in 2018
Package varies from 7 LPA to 26 LPA.

IIT Roorkee

Around 72% placement.
Average package is 10 LPA.
Top recruiter are Bajaj, Maruti Suzuki, Honda.

It's all up to you to decide. Both of them are good.
