EWS certificate has been asked for DU admission registration, are both the Income certificate and the EWS certificate the same document or is there any difference between them?

Income certificate and EWS certificate are different. EWS certificate is certifyiing that you belong to General Categpry but as your family income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum, you are being given EWS Certificate to avail EWS reservation. Income Certificate on the other hand is to give a glimpse of the financial stuation of the household certifying the annual income.
