Dear Satyajit , it varies from state to state. So you can't predict much. In states like U.P and Delhi the cutoff for  government colleges are high. But for states like Maharashtra its quite . But any score of about 550+ is always good. So go ahead and do your best my friend.

See depends on which college you want then by what Kota you wanted the 85% state quota the 15% all India quota

If you want to avail college from your home state using the 85% state quota then you must inform score of above 500 so that you get a good Government Medical College seat in your own state availing the 85% state quota

If you want one of the good government college seats in other states availing 15% all India quota you should be aiming for score of above 550 if not above 600

Hope this helps, thank you

Every year it changes according to the competition. That's why you should aim to score really high and work hard.

To put an estimate, it'll be around 510-520.

Good luck

Heyy satyajit ..Before asking the question you must mention where are you from bcz the cutoffs vary state to state.. But as per my knowledge you must get a govt seat above 550 in any of the states. But it takes lot of effort to score so high. So all the best for your studies and do well in your exams.

It depends on whethere you are opting for state quota or All India Quota. If state quota it will further depend on which state you belong to: No. of government medical seats, No. of aspirants that year, performance of your state that year etc.

In general, a score of 580+ maybe required to apply through AIQ and 550+ is a safe score to get a medical seat via state quota.

These marks do greatly vary every year, as the questions differ.

If you score more than 420 you are safe (for general category).

Try to score 550+ for better ranks and colleges.

All the best for your upcoming examinations!!
