If you wish to take admission in Diploma in Civil Engineering course then you have to crack the polytechnic exam organized by your state. Every state have two kinds of polytechnics, one is Government polytechnics and the other is Private polytechnics. The fees are higher in Private polytechnics than Government polytechnics. Thus if you wish to take admission, the fees will be dependent on the kind of college you are taking admission in. I am providing you the average range of fees for both kind of colleges.

For Private Polytechnics the fees can vary in the range: Rs. 8,000-11.94 Lacs for 3 years and for government polytechnics the fees can vary in the range Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 1,25,000.
