The fee range for IIMs is 10lakh for new IIMs to 22 lakh for older IIMs like Ahmedabad for the entire course. 

Merit based and need based scholarships are given to candidates by the respective college according to the eligibility of the student.

Fees at the various different IIMs across our country ranges from INR 9 lakhs to INR 22 lakhs. The fees is the same for students of all categories.

Scholarships are given by Alumni and Industry. These are purely based on merit and the scholarship amount is always nominal (around INR 1 lakh per year).

Need based scholarships are given by institute. This is a fee waiver based on the income level of the parent. All students whose family income is less than INR 6 lakh per annum are eligible. The amount of fee waiver depends on factors such as  how low the family income is and how much property the family has.
