Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) is a 4-year undergraduate programme that focuses on the growth of critical care-related knowledge, values, and abilities. Candidates for the BSc Nursing degree must have completed science in class 12. In India, there are 1936 nursing colleges with 1,00,930 BSc Nursing seats. The AIIMS has 571 places for BSc Nursing students.

Most central and state universities use the NEET UG test as the basis for BSc nursing admission, which is then followed by a counselling session. However, certain colleges, like AIIMS, have their own entrance exams for BSc nursing admission. The maximum age for doing the BSc Nursing Course through NEET has been eliminated.
