The food technology is a good branch if you are interested in it. The faculty here in food technology are very good. If you have a interest in food related chemistry then this branch is definitely for you. Most of the students in food technology get placed, although, the highest package is around 6 lpa. Hi aspirant, first of all HBTI Kanpur is one of the better college in UP so it's always a great option. Now, about food technology there- the placements is not that great as compared to Plastic technology. But if you want to pursue mba especially in agribusiness (ABM) in future then it's always a little advantage to choose food technology now. Highest package was around 6lpa
